Your Support is Needed for the FACC’s Continuing Success
Under the leadership of Rustin Lippincott, the Center has been busier than ever serving our community this year. Nearly 100 local organizations held meetings and events in the Center. The Sondheim Theatre hosted a variety of popular entertainment events – an impressive 262 in total – and the Meeting Rooms and Expo Hall were utilized 325 times. The economic good news is that events and meetings in the Center drew approximately 14,000 visitors to Fairfield in 2009, generating an estimated $5 million of additional spending in our community.

The FACC's operating and capital budget for 2010 calls for $360,000 to be raised to supplement annual revenues and run the facility slightly above breakeven. To meet this goal, we've kicked off our 2010 Annual Fundraising Campaign and ask for your support. All it's going to take is 300 people to commit to a monthly donation averaging $100. Your monthly gift does not have to be $100, but your commitment to a monthly donation is the key. We already have 50 on board and are asking you to become one of our "300 for 100" supporters to help the Center continue to bless our community is so many wonderful ways.

This executive summary of our business plan provides a great overview of our success and our 2010 plan. If you're interested, a full business plan is available for your review as well, here.

The Center is at an important crossroads, and what happens during the next three to four months will determine the future of this facility, its dedicated staff, and all that it provides for Fairfield's economic sustainability and quality of life. To that end, won't you please join the growing group of monthly supporters to continue the positive momentum that will inspire the rest of our community to take us through and beyond our current challenge?
