Your favorite sing-along hosts are back again. On Thursday, September 19th at 7:30pm at the Sondheim, Chris Busch, Andy MacKenzie and Doug Daller are setting the W.A.B.A.C. machine for 1969; specifically the 50th anniversaries of the Woodstock Festival and the release of the Beatles' Abbey Road album.
If you've attended any of their popular Beatles sing-alongs before, you know what to expect: Chris and Andy will lead the songfest, with live musical accompaniment by Doug Daller on piano. Lyrics will be projected for easy viewing.
In addition to your favorite songs from Abbey Road, including "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun", also featured will be songs by artists who appeared at Woodstock - including The Who, John Sebastian, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jefferson Airplane, Sly & The Family Stone and more. Plus songs by artists who weren't there but should have been, including Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Donovan, The Mamas and The Papas, Stevie Wonder and more.
Break out the tie-dye and macramé and prepare to let your freak flag fly. This event is free and open to the public, Thursday, September 19th at 7:30pm at the Sondheim.
