The Fairfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with Iowa State University extension office will be presenting an interactive workshop on customer service and hospitality training. This two hour workshop, led by Iowa State University Extension specialists, will introduce targeted strategies for community tourism leaders as well as business and attractions.
Attendees will be exposed to customer service best practices and learn how to be ambassadors for our community. Of benefit to businesses and the community as a whole is the focused training on how to transform community visitors into customers and keep them coming back.
This training event is open to anyone who works with visitors coming to our community such as front-line employees, tourism volunteers and anyone working in retail shops, restaurants, attractions, hotels, gas stations and convenience stores.
